PRISM3: Light, lighting and illuminating materials and shapes
This event is for internal partipants of the PRISM network. The workshop will host a few invited talks on design, perception and visualization of (interactions between) materials and light. The purpose of the meeting is to bring together researchers from the network to present their ongoing work related to shape, shading, materials and light, and provide them with opportunities to interact with their fellow-researchers, as well as advanced training. The week before the meeting interested early stage researchers in the network can follow extensive hands-on training in lighting design and technology via a 2-days focus group. Both the focus group and meeting will be based at Delft University of Technology, Perceptual Intelligence lab, Industrial Design, and each involve a one day program in Eindhoven at Philips,Visual Experiences group.
